The action by Bank BGŻ BNP Paribas
Support the Neighbourhood Business (‘Wspierajmy Sąsiedzki Biznes’) is an initiative that promotes local shopping and the use of services available just nearby. To connect the needs of local entrepreneurs and their customers, a dedicated platform was created. During the action, companies shared their special offers for non-business customers to use them. All the registered entrepreneurs had the opportunity to take part in the Support the Neighbourhood Business contest and win advertising campaigns.
A web-design project
The Green Parrot agency’s team delivered a complex website design for the initiative, all the way from the model to the website rollout and maintenance. We wanted the website to offer maximum functionality. For this reason, on the website we put a map displaying the registered companies and discounts available nearby. The counter on the home page calculated the days to the action’s final i.e. the opening of the Neighbourhood Business Week. We crafted the website according to the then applicable RODO requirements. Ongoing and in-depth functionality analyses (HotJar, Google Analitics) enabled us to introduce some exciting changes and make the website perfect. For example, we added new functions to the home page and shortened the registration path.
A business-friendly solution
The popularity of the action was measured by a counter showing the number of registered businesses. Entrepreneurs who put their offers on the website could generate a special discount display and share it in their social media. There was also MY ACCOUNT panel for the registered users where they could conveniently make changes to their existing offers and add new ones at any time.
Communication with participants
The entire process was additionally supported by a bespoke mailing. We created an attractive e-mail template which guided the user through all the registration steps. The communication was also supported by an automated SMS notification system. Additionally, a dedicated guidance animation helped the participants to seemingly go through all the registration steps.
